Editor
Open a 250,000-line file and type without lag: a piece-table buffer and a virtualised viewport.
Colour the visible lines first, tokenise the rest off the main thread, and re-tokenise only what an edit invalidates.
Workspace
One keyboard box to jump to any of 80,000 files or run any command: fuzzy matching, ranking and context.
Search a whole workspace as results stream in, then preview and apply a replace across 38 files as one undo.
A lazy file tree, tabs with dirty dots, 'changed on disk' conflicts, and never losing an edit on reload.
Extensions
Run untrusted third-party code beside the editor: isolation, an RPC boundary, and surviving a hung extension.
